We require settlement of all fees at the end of each visit
Visa/Laser/Mastercard, cheques and cash accepted.

Results

You will be contacted by the clinic if you results are abnormal. A text message system is used to notify patients if they need to be seen routinely to discuss their results. Your doctor will contact you by phone if the results need urgent management/ treatment.

As the newest member of our team, Sara Jane has brought with her from St. Vincents hospital a lot of expertise. She looks after appointment bookings and general queries.

Barbara joined the Clinic in 2004. Since her arrival she has overseen the on-going evolution of the practice. Always a friendly voice at the end of the phone, she looks after our patients with great care and attention to detail.

Barbara previously worked in a large dental practice. She is a calm managing hand who maintains the smooth running of the clinic.

Responsibilities: Practice Manager

Irene has worked in the clinic since 1994 and is an important part of the clinic team. She has a wealth of knowledge in general practice and women’s health. She runs the clinic pap smear recall system and deals with medical phone queries and results for all our patients in an efficient and friendly manner. She has a diploma in family planning.

Dr. Wallace graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998. She worked in paediatric medicine for 4 years and obtained her diploma in child health and part 1 of her Paediatric membership.M

Dr. Wallace then worked in general medicine, emergency department medicine, psychiatry and obstetrics and gynaecolgy before taking up a position in General Practice. Dr. Wallace has worked in the Blackrock Medical Clinic since 2006. In 2008, Dr. Wallace became a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Dr. Barbara Kearns graduated with an honours degree from University College, Dublin in 1993. From 1994 to 2000 Dr. Kearns pursued her specialist training in the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio – ranked consistently in the top 5 hospitals in the U.S.A. (click here…).

Upon successful completion of her specialist training in general medicine and paediatrics, Dr. Kearns was made a Member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and  a Member of the American Academy of Paediatrics.  Dr. Kearns worked as a Consultant  in the Cleveland Clinic Primary Care Department before returning to join her mother, Dr. Geraldine Kearns, in general practice in Blackrock.

Since her return to Ireland in 2000, Dr. Kearns has completed further specialist training and became a Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners in 2005. In 2007, Dr. Kearns completed a higher diploma in dermatology, graduating with honours from U.C.D. Dr. Kearns is actively involved in continuing medical education with the Irish College of General Practitioners. 
Currently Dr. Kearns is also involved in lecturing in the Faculty of Medicine in University College, Dublin. She is also resident doctor on the popular TV3 morning show, where she gives general medical advice to viewers (click here …)

As a daughter and grand daughter of General Practitioners, Dr. Kearns is passionate about medicine and the care of her patients. She is an active sports woman and a year round sea swimmer in the forty foot. Dr. Kearns is a fluent Irish speaker and a mentor for youths in Cuala GAA club.
